Terms & Conditions
None of our terms of trading affect your statutory rights as
a consumer.
United Furniture and our personnel are completely dedicated
to providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
All of our kitchens are rigid built and made to order. We
will process your order as quickly and efficiently as
possible and delivery is usually within 15 working days from
date of order, direct from the factory.

you require any advice or assistance then call us between
9am-6pm Monday to Friday.
Browse through our on line brochure, once you have selected
the range pick out your units then add them to your cart.
Once your basket is complete proceed to the check out. You
will then be asked for payment details.
Booking deposit
A deposit of 25% is taken when your order is processed
and the balance is due when orders are ready for despatch.
Methods of payment
We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard or Switch or any
equivalent cards. You may
send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or
online. Cheques are accepted but allow 7 days for clearance.
Any errors in receipts or payments will be rectified within
5 working days of our agreeing to correct them.
Payment by credit card
Your order will be processed within 2 working days. You
will be sent an email confirming your order as well as a
letter of confirmation.
If any item is not available you will be first emailed,
called or sent a letter before your
order is charged. You will then be able to either change or
cancel your order with no charge to you.
We are also able to back-order the missing item and when it
is available will be forwarded. The item will not be charged
for until it is available.
We will take all reasonable care to keep your order details
and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we will
not be liable for any losses if an unauthorised third party
obtains access to your information. This system is the
safest way to buy and is safer than passing your details
over the phone lines and at least as safe as passing your
card over a shop counter.
The ordering system allows you to make several other choices
of method to pay.

Print out the stock list and read each code to the
person taking the order. Your credit card details will be
taken down and your order will be processed within 2 working
days. You will be sent an email confirming all details of
your order as well as a letter of confirmation.
By Fax
Print out the stock list and fax it to 01282 448845 or
click on the link to send it via your computer. You will be
sent an email confirming your order as well as a letter of
confirmation.
By Mail
Print out the stock list and send it to United
furniture, 11, Rushwood St East, Burnley, Lancashire BB10
1XD, UK. If you are paying by cheque please insure that you
register your letter. Payment must be cleared before
confirmation of your order is accepted. Please allow an
additional 5 working days.
Refunds
Any contracts not completed within 30 days can be
cancelled and a full refund will be given for any goods
which have not been delivered at that time. This excludes
goods which have been advised and accepted as being out of
this time scale. Refunds will be processed within 2 working
days.
Goods are not sold on a trial basis and are constructed to
order however you have 7 days from the day following receipt
of goods to notify us in writing that you wish to cancel the
order.
Goods must be taken reasonable care of and must be as new
and in saleable condition on their return. Our order
confirmation includes a cancellation form, which you must
fill and send to us if needed. Due to the fragile nature of
our products they must be repacked as they were received and
we must arrange the collection. You will be charged the cost
of the return. You will only be credited for goods received
in saleable as new condition at our depot. Refunds will be
processed within 30 days of the receipt of the written
cancellation of the order and the goods. Goods which have
been made to your specification will be excluded from this
returns policy as they are strictly non refundable. These
terms only apply to goods ordered for UK delivery. The
returns policy applies to exchange goods and will be treated
as a new order until the original goods are returned for
credit as appropriate.
NB The 3D plans provided by our designers are a computer
representation only and do not form part of any contract.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only
use the information collected about you lawfully (in
accordance with the Data protection Act 1998) and according
to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice. We only collect
basic information provided by you to enable us to process
your order and to provide you with the best possible
service.
Guarantee
All our products are covered by the manufacturers
warranty which is detailed with the product and is valid for
12 months.
Delivery
The cost of the goods includes the cost of shipping within
the UK mainland. UK deliveries are usually made within 15
working days. ON DELIVERY PLEASE THOROUGHLY INSPECT THE
GOODS AND REPORT DAMAGES, FAULTS OR ERRORS IN THE ORDER TO
US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We cannot accept liability for
damages or errors if goods have been fitted. IN THE EVENT
THAT GOODS CANNOT BE INSPECTED ON DELIVERY THEN SIGN FOR
THEM AS " UNEXAMINED" Report damages, faults or errors to
the Operations Manager by phone, email or letter within 7
days. In the unlikely event of damage, fault or error you
will be entitled to an exchange or full refund. Refunds will
be made within 5 working days of our agreement to do so.
You must be present to accept delivery and assistance will
be required by an able-bodied person to unload the kitchen.
Please ensure we are advised in advance of any likely access
problems as the delivery vehicles are large and will be
parked for some time while unloading and checking is carried
out. Delivery is to the ground floor only. We advise against
booking trades for installations until the goods have been
received. No liability can be accepted for costs caused by
late deliveries or for any other reason.
YOUR AGREEMENT WITH US
We will confirm acceptance (or otherwise) of your order
as soon as possible, either by email (if your order is
placed on-line) or by telephone (if your order is placed
over the telephone). A binding agreement arises once we
accept your order and we will then charge your credit/debit
card on acceptance of your order.
DELAY OR FAILURE TO PERFORM
We shall not be liable to you if we are prevented or
delayed in performing of our any obligations to you if this
is due to any cause beyond our reasonable control eg:
an act of God, explosion, flood, fire or accident
war or civil disturbance
strike, industrial action or stoppages of work
any form of government intervention
a third party act or omission
failure by you to give us a correct email or delivery
address or notify us of any change of address
If this happens we shall inform you as soon as is reasonably
practicable and if these circumstances continue for 30 days
either you or we will be free to cancel the contract. If so,
we will give you a full refund of any payment we have
received from you within 30 days of cancellation.
